Dollar General 1311 Main Street, Columbus, MS 39701

"Supposed to be open until 10pm. I get there at 7:30pm and the doors are locked with a handwritten sign saying “sorry we’re closed”"

"Bad service While me and my family were shopping, for frangrance a worker who was putting up stock in the same area had made a very rude comment to me while I was spraying a can of air freshener to see what type of scent I was buying before I bought it. Didn't realize that it was a problem until she said rudely, "You can't spray it unless you buy it" .however I was about to buy it plus $19 worth of other items. This comment was uncalled for, did no good what so ever, because I put all items back and went somewhere else, anyway with better, friendlier, service. I didn't understand why a person in customer service who is working for a company which is trying to sell items instead of loose customer .I nor my family nor anyone I know will shop at this dollar store again .This lady has been very rude in the past and I am very tired of her smart comments . I have shopped at this store for over 8 years and have in counter her several times being rude to other customers. If this store would like to make further sales I suggest they evaluate on who they have working for them. Rude service gets no service. Her name is Denise and she was at the store at about 9:00 pm on Monday the 8th of October. I will also be contacting further people in the other district if this matter is not taking care of. Or at least discuss with her . I have no problem or every had another problem with any other worker but her. Thank you for who it May concern."

"As good as any comparable Dollar General, with polite, helpful staff, all of whom know how to do their job, so better than some Dollar General stores. Inventory here is pretty consistent. This is one of my Top 3 Favorite Dollar Generals in Lowndes County. And, there are, like, at LEAST 10 of them, that I can think of, right off the bat."
