Change Institute, also a part of Change Inc., focuses on developing and implementing trainings to prepare caring adults such as teachers, administrators, and therapists to best meet the mental health needs of children, youth, and young adults in the community. The goal is to empower a diverse clinical workforce that is equipped to serve children and families facing complex barriers in the Twin Cities.
Change Inc. was formed through a merger of two community-based organizations, Guadalupe Alternative Programs and Change Inc., both originally established to serve underserved individuals and address systemic poverty and racism in the Twin Cities. The institution also houses Change Clinic and the Administrative Office.
