Established in 1901, the society has been preserving the history of Cottonwood County for over a century. Housed in the old Co-Op Oil Association building since 1973, the institution underwent a renovation in 1998, which added the Remick Art Gallery, the Exhibit Hall, the Research Library, and accessible restrooms.
