"I am taking my child elsewhere. This place seemed good at first, until problems started adding up. They didn't feed my child. My child had to be there for 8 hours a day and would come home with packages of food not even opened in his lunchbox. I discussed this several times with his BCBA. The last time we talked about it, we agreed I could send things in that they would prepare for my child. So instead of me making a mac n cheese bowl and putting it in Tupperware, I sent the mac n cheese bowl as is (very easy to make, just add water and pop in the microwave) so this is the day after my meeting with the BCBA talking about this. Guess What? You guessed right! when my child got home the mac n cheese was still in the lunch box not opened or prepared. The BCBA didn't know why this happened. My child was always so hungry afterwards too! Then there was the strange reaction my child had with one particular tech there, and the BCBA defended her repeatedly. I know there is something not right with this chick because I witnessed another child have the same reaction with her. Just because someone passes a background check, doesn't make them right to work with autistic children. Also don't be fooled by their claims of working in close proximity. There are plenty of opportunities for the techs to be alone with your child. The BCBA was nice at first but when pointing out problems, he uses what he learned in his psychology classes to deflect and put it back on you. They can do no wrong basically, oh and the Christian thing, please don't make me gag. LOL!!! It is always the same thing with Christians, they can do no wrong. My child has been pretty much nonstop sick at this facility, which also made my entire household sick. We are recovering as I type from sickness that came from there. I can't even count how many times we have been sick in the past few months. They say it's normal, I don't think this frequency is normal. SO my child has missed a lot of days due to this. The last thing that happened here that really threw me over the edge is the BCBA took a surprise vacation. He didn't even cancel the meeting he set up with my child's case manager which also took her by surprise. She would have gone to the center if it hadn't been for me informing her that he wasn't even there. SO the first day of his special vacation, the center's care app went down and they didn't inform anyone. I always check it to see how my child is doing. WELL this particular week he was having a rough week and the BCBA KNEW this before he took his magical vacation. I checked the app and it kept saying no records available. It didn't even look like my child was there. SO I tried calling for two hours straight. I was stuck in an appointment and couldn't get over there right away. They had so many excuses for this. The director blamed the BCBA for why things were chaotic and that they couldn't help it if someone took a vacation. They also claimed the phone calls were being transferred to the wrong person. SO since I have had a problem with this place, the BCBA has been working hard at pushing us out of their program. FUNNY I was already leaving LOL. Going to a place that is a lot more organized and professional. GOOD RIDDANCE The only reason I gave it three stars is because with the exception of the one tech, all the other techs who worked with my child were great and helped my child learn a lot! So thank you to those techs. It isn't their fault the place isn't managed right."
