Beaumont Imaging Center, Livonia

"My ability to get my scans scheduled at all Beaumont imaging labs have been excellent compared to Trinity, Henry Ford and Ascension. This is because the actual imaging lab answers the phone and schedules scan versus a call center queue off site (Ascencion call center is even in a different country) Also, they have Mon-Sun appts with 12 hour/ days. You can call and ask question too, they know what you're talking about. But, it's true, at Livonia, if you dont catch the person (they're taking a patient back, etc.) and if you leave a message, they do not call back. That is unprofessional, but so common at many other practices as well. If you want to avoid that, make an appointment at a Beaumont Hospital, otherwise call again until you catch a person. Health care, big pharmacy, and health insurance is abysmal now, patients are being exploited. It will get worse. Google that topic. Beaumont is as good or better than any other managed health care services. I have all private doctors and they all choose to use Beaumont for lab, imaging and hospital facilties. The truth is, even nonprofit health care organizations and insurance companies are making huge profits that are folded in to huge salaries for top level execs, big pharmacy companies making huge profits. The lower level health care works make low wages, no raises, and no benefits, so they can't get employees and are understaffed. The American public needs to wake up and protest this racket of paying huge bucks for low quality health care. Wakeup, get involved, organize and protest publically. Push your Federal and State Senators and Representatives for legislation to stop this. Google, 'How do I email my senator or Rep' and from there it's easy as cake. Same with emailing your govenor and president. Complain on social media. You snooze you will definately lose."

"DONT GO HERE -- You will get (2) Invoices 1. From the facility and the 2nd one for a report -- its twice as much here -- than Basha. I personally called for a quote - and was not informed that Id be receiving two bills - totalling over $300 for a simple no contrast CT scan -- buyer beware."

"I went to this Beaumont imaging center for an x-ray. Though they were not busy, the results were not back to my Dr until 3 days later. The results were no broken bones. I had a follow up appointment with a hand specialist who said the hand was indeed broken and took additional pictures to show me more clearly the break. I am thankful that received proper care with a different doctor. I will never go back there again."

"They don't answer the phone in a timely fashion whatsoever. It should not be so time consuming and difficult to make an appointment by phone. Competence seems to be a skill of the past."
