"This place was PACKED right after Christmas and before the new year. No parking spot in sight. No carts in sight. I love Costco, however I wish people were more self aware. Although I couldn't find a cart, I heaved a car seat all the way to the front, dodging carts left right in the middle of the aisles."

"I am writing this review to tell about my experience with Kevin Beadles, the gas station attendant at the Madison Heights store. When I got to the pumps on December 30, I was looking for my wallet in my car. I could not find it! I was panicking because I only had 34 miles left in my gas tank, and I was 55 miles from home. All my credit cards and cash was in my wallet. Since I didn't know anybody in Madison Heights, I called my coworker to get him to help me. He was willing to give his credit card over the phone to get the gas, but I had to ask the gas station attendant, Kevin, if I could do that. He said he could take credit card payments over the phone, and I was really desperate for help. He suggested to me to open a Google Pay app on my phone, and then add my coworker's credit card to the app. Since I was unsure how to do this, Kevin took the time to show me how to do it. He even showed me how to use the Google Pay to purchase gas at the pump! I was so grateful for the actions Kevin took that night. He went beyond the call of duty to help me, and should be commended. I strongly recommend that Kevin be recognized by your company for the actions he took to help me that night. Thank you so much Kevin!!"

"Do you think that all Costco warehouses in the metro Detroit area have the same prices? They don't! The Madison Heights location has consistently lower prices on produce, meat and many other items, including gas! In contrast, prices at the Bloomfield Hills Costco warehouse on Telegraph Road are consistently higher - because it's in Bloomfield Hills, of course. Get there before 11:00 am or the crowds will be insane."

"Customer Profiling! Been a member of Costco for over a decade now and have never had a bad experience until my last two visits. Both times I was picking up pigs ears for my dog and was in line for the self checkout line. The line was pretty long but was moving along. Both times out of the blue a Costco employee walks up to me and asks for my membership card. I was paying attention to the line both times and no one in front of me was asked to show their membership card. Was I asked because I look fairly young? Do I look too poor to shop at Costco? Why weren't others being asked? If they were checking everyone's card I wouldn't be a fan but would go along with it but they clearly weren't. Today I paid attention while checking out my stuff. The employee checked the person behind because I said something and clearly didn't check the next couple of customers while I was checking out."
