Autopol is a car repair institution located at 1459 Hartland Street, Troy, Michigan, United States. Autopol is registered with three auction companies - Copart, AIIA, and Impact Auto (Canada). Through this partnership, Autopol has access to over 300 auction sites that sell more than two million vehicles annually. Autopol purchases vehicles in the USA and Canada and exports cars with either a "clean title" or "salvage title". The majority of vehicles are bought at auctions. Cars with a "salvage title" are cheaper because after repair and inspection, they receive a new title in the USA with a note that the car has been rebuilt. This results in a lower market value for the vehicle. If such a car is exported to Poland and repaired there, it receives a new title as if it had never been damaged. To purchase a vehicle through Autopol, the customer must deposit 10% of the amount they intend to bid on the vehicle at auction. If the bid is successful, the balance must be sent to Autopol within three days. Autopol handles the pickup of the vehicle from the auction as well as its export to Poland or Germany. They also take care of all the necessary documentation for export from the USA and acceptance of the vehicle in Europe.
