Shalda Creek enters Lake Michigan is a park located at 1952 West Lake Michigan Road in Maple City, Michigan, United States. The park is near where Shalda Creek meets Lake Michigan in the northern part of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Visitors can access the park by turning onto CR 669 and driving to Lake Michigan Drive, then walking 0.8 miles to Shalda Creek. Alternatively, visitors can park at the end of CR 669 and walk to the beach, then walk along the beach to Shalda Creek. The park is the site of North Unity, a village founded in 1855 by Bohemian immigrants. The immigrants faced hardships, including a typhoid epidemic and harsh winters, but eventually prospered with the help of the annual spring migration of passenger pigeons. The village was destroyed by fire in 1871, but many families relocated to what is now known as Shalda Corners. The park features a restored log cabin and an original school building from the North Unity era.
