"My review will be a bit long- you've been warned, haha. We are eternally grateful to Dr. Jeff and the staff here. 1.5 weeks ago my 8 month old kitten missed a jump and broke her leg clean in half. In hind sight it isn't the worst emergency to have, but the timing could not have been worse for us. In the past 3 months we have spent over 8k on our dog who we ended up having to put down at 5 years old. Having our kitty break her leg so soon after was a huge hit to us- we ended up being quoted $5-6k for her surgery on the Canadian side which was a punch to the gut as we just spent our rainy day savings on our dog. Our clinic showed little to no empathy and we had to watch our little girl suffer, which any pet parent knows is the worst feeling ever. I called the Sault Animal Hospital for the first time ever, and I was instantly greeted with so much compassion on the phone. I was able to speak with Dr. Jeff the same day. He was kind and professional, and got my girl in within a few days. Even with the exchange rate, I still paid less than half of what I was quoted by our own vets on the Canadian side. I could tell before they ever even saw her in person, they cared about her wellbeing and not just a paycheck which was the best after so feeling hopeless for ten days. My baby came home safe and put together again.... We are very grateful for this establishment. We look forward to continuing to bring our business here!! Lila was in great hands today! :)"
