"We stayed at the Gateway last weekend. We were pleasantly surprised opening the door to our room to see it had been tastefully updated, spacious and clean. The AC was perfect with steady white noise all night, the beds were very comfortable and the owner went above and beyond to offer additional assistance that we needed while we were there. I'd give 10 stars for the customer service alone if I could!"

"Very overpriced. Booked room for one price then got charged way more then what I originally booked the room for, when we asked about why we got charged so much they said it basically wasn’t their issue and it was the booking places fault for “giving you the wrong price” and did not charge back what we got overcharged for, if you want to spend over 100 dollars a night go to the nicer hotels up the road 100% not worth it room are small and not great floors look and feel like they have not gotten cleaned since they got installed the whole room but the beds look like they haven’t gotten cleaned almost never, bathroom very small and the water smells horrible. Save yourself from getting over charged and don’t stay here."

"Not the worst place I've ever stayed. Rooms are clean and spacious, but a bit outdated. Not the best smelling. Bathroom could use some work. Can't say I would stay here again, but it was fine for the 10 hours I was here."

"Worst hotel experience I've ever had. Over priced and not worth the time. Owner makes you feel not welcome & uncomfortable even though you're keeping their business afloat. Don't come here if you want to be stereotyped even though you're being respectful guests. Room has terrible odor and the water smells like sulfur. We found bugs in pillows, the sheets were dirty with stains and every time we would see the owner we would be greeted with a dirty look. There is a nicer hotel about 2 miles away right off the highway I wish we had known about before booking here, this was seriously just a bad experience all around."
