The shop was bustling with weekend crowds, the eftpos machine was playing up and yet Dora remained polite, friendly, efficient and super helpful (in spite of the fact that she had not even had time to go to the bathroom or have lunch!) An entirely pleasant shopping experience. I bought a pair of gorgeous boots which I wore out to dinner tonight. Super happy with my purchase and super grateful to Dora.”

I had, had a couple of extremely bad days and looking at shoes often brightens my day, well I ended up buying 2 pairs of shoes and Wendy gave me a discount hoping she wouldn’t get into trouble and I really hope that isn’t going to happen - as Wendy made me feel human again and put a smile on my face at a time when I really needed it, she didn’t have to do what she did but I will be a customer of hers for her friendliness and kindness at a time when I needed that.”

“I originally visited this store in September of 2022 when my Mum was in hospital. A day that she was resting, I went to Platypus because I was in desperate need of a new pair of runners. Whilst there, I met 2 ladies, one of whom served me and was amazing. Karen is her name. She was wonderful with me, even when I got upset talking about Mum and the stress and worry over it. I found 2 pairs of runners at the time and paid for them. However, within a few weeks, I tore the tendon in my right elbow and with 2 more stays at hospital with Ma, I never got to properly wear them. Due to my injury, I wasn't able to slide my feet into them so they were useless to me. Unfortunately, I was still unable to leave Mum alone to visit the store even months later, so a few days ago, when Mum was in hospital yet again, and after speaking a number of times with Leanne, I finally saw her in store and she was wonderful enough to give me a credit, instead of me having to spend time trying shoes on with my still-injured elbow and the stress of recent events. Karen and Leanne are incredible women. Supportive, caring, kind, professional and they made me feel so comfortable and very much wanting to return when I next get a chance. I cannot express enough gratitude to both of these wonderful ladies and can only hope that Head Office recognise the amazing qualities within these women. Thank you Karen and Leanne, for more than just your customer service.”

I wanted a pair of boots that they didn't have at the shop in the colour I wanted. Marcus the shop assistant called the other shop in Geelong and the owner was later going to be coming to the OG shop. They also had a promo on and I got 20% discount, bonus. It was after hours when the boots arrived in which had already been discussed earlier so Marcus hand delivered them to my door. What a service. Thanks so much.
