“We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. Snapper House provided the perfect place to base ourselves as we explored Philip Island, and easily became one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome. Lynda and Per are fantastic hosts, very warm, friendly and attentive. The breakfast provided was hearty and generous, and more importantly - delicious! As for the room, it was comfortable, roomy and immaculately clean; also very quiet - privacy was not an issue. I was pleasantly surprised at how easily I was able to fall asleep on the first night of our stay as I usually have trouble adjusting to new spaces, so that was a definite plus. “Had a beautiful room with a king sized bed overlooking an immaculate peaceful garden. Friendly and helpful owners, very nicely decorated rooms including sitting/reading room and delicious cooked breakfast. Highly recommended for a special getaway.”

“A beautifully restored and maintained old property set in a beautiful garden. It is very conveniently located very close to the beach and town and restaurants and shops. The Fernery Room was very comfortable, tastefully decorated in a style, sympathetic to the age of the property but with modern conveniences. The bed was extremely comfortable with lovely linen. We appreciated the little extra touches, such as fruit and port. Breakfast provisions are provided for dining in room.”

“Absolutely Fantastic house for a holiday. Great location, only 5 minutes walk to the beach and 10 minutes the shops. The house is amazing with lovely style and separate space for the kids to play. The kitchen and whole house were very clean and well stocked with essentials. The outdoor alfresco and landscaped yard made it even better. The owners are very easy to deal with providing answers and responses almost immediately. We had a great long weekend away here and fell into it like a home away from home. We will definitely be returning here for another holiday and would highly recommend it to families wanting that homely feeling while away.”

Eggs were nicely cooked, nicely paired with your choice of protein and amazing sourdough. The breakfast special was really delicious and unique as well. I’ve never had pumpkin and potato pulled pork before and I’m glad my first time was good. The kids pancake was the best pancakes I’ve ever eaten, GET IT.”
