“I’ve been lucky enough to call the Lab my home since 2011. I came into the studio thinking I was everything and I’m still there today knowing I have so much more to grow!!!! Most teachers teach all they have. Pete is one of the few teachers that opens the doors to rooms that you can explore so you never stop learning. And for the reviewers that say he has kicked them out of the school because they weren’t good enough…. After a decade there I’ve watched him kick a few people out. He has never kicked students out for not being good enough. You want to learn. Then you are welcome. He kicks people out when those people make other actors (generally females) feel uncomfortable in scene work”

“Came here for the first time to see a special screening of John Waters’ cult classic Polyester. What a stunningly beautiful theatre! Genuinely worth visiting just to see the architecture and historical design elements alone, but I got the impression from just the one visit that this theatre has developed an amazing friendly and inclusive community around it.”

“I had a terrific "right time, right place" experience here over the weekend ... having stayed at an AirBnB the night before a few doors down Acland St I dropped in for a cup of coffee and there was a read-through / rehearsal of a play called "Midwest Scouse" about to start. What a great start to a Sunday morning with no real plans to rush off for ! The place itself is great, the staff very friendly and they definitely brew each and every coffee with a lot of love. Fab location with a tree covered courtyard out front. I thoroughly enjoyed the read-through of the play, local drama productions is something I have always enjoyed and not had the kind of time for I'd like. The play-write, director, and actors all put together a tour-de-force that will not disappoint punters who go to see the final product. Thank you to everyone at Theatre Works who put in so much work on this show and gave me the opportunity to see it coming along all for the price of a cup of coffee. It's these little experiences being in the right place at the right time that create some of the most special memories.”

“We went to our first comedy show at the Palais Theatre. It was so beautiful inside due to the age of the building and the features of the ceilings, carpets and fireplaces. We sat three rows from the top so I was a bot nervous as I am scared of heights.”

“This is a great whimsical playground that immediately felt like it has a lot of history behind it once you walk through the gate. It feels like a place where children can take risks, excercise their imagination and go on a big adventure with whatever story they can cook up with. There are also interesting art and doodles all around the area that set it apart from modern playground which can be too safe and bland.”

“Went and saw 100 years of Warner Bros. It was beautiful candlelight performance with songs from famous WB films. Highly recommended going to a show here because it's also a beautiful old building.”

“So much marble. Luxury finishes. Kitchen is solid, island bench / splashback and bench top are all made of marbles. We inspected the lower levelled apartments and one high levelled apartment. High apartment was another level with amazing views.”
