Melissa, the Owner, is very accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. Our room, Captain's Suite, was very spacious and beautifully appointed in old world charm furnishings. Bed super comfy. Shower excellent. We so appreciated the little extras that the Captain's Retreat offers, plus the location is superb. We were given plenty of dining recommendations and they didn't disappoint. What's not to enjoy here? We will be back when we are next in Melbourne. A truly great experience.”

One of the best beaches for watching the sunset.The esplanade is good for evening walks.There are benches along the walk path to be seated and experience the sunset. There are no shops/restaurants close to the beach, but a short walk will take you to the main road where you have some takeaway shops.”
