“A restaurant with a chic look nestled inside Melbourne Central offering delicious Indian cuisine at decent prices. I ordered a Lamb Dosa ($17.9) and my friend a plate of Andhra Chicken Curry ($19.9) with 3 Plain Rotis ($4.99 each). The food was excellent, both in taste and portion sizes. Great staff, cool ambiance with popular Indian music playing over the speakers, this is a busy place with great food!”

“Daaaaamn. Crispy pressed perfection! Toasted pressed thin Greek wrap, sealed as it crisped together (couldn’t unwrap it so perfectly unmessy), with soft fresh but structurally sound falafel. Tasty LTO salad with red onion. I added jalapeños ($1 I think) for a little extra pop. Vegans—it has tzatziki by default unless you ask, so I swapped to hommus and chilli sauce. “Breakfast at Cheshire was amazing. Coffee was nice, kids loved their hot chocolate. Eggs Benny with bacon, waffles for the kids and scrambled eggs with bacon. Everything was delicious, fresh ingredients used and very tasty. Plenty of seating both indoors and out. Great atmosphere. Do yourself a favour and try this place. You won’t be disappointed.”

We had the cod croquettes (chefs speciality) I was a little worried as I’m not a big fish fan - they were AMAZING! And the desserts… wow! The brownie was so decadent and GF. The plum pudding was devine. Will definitely return soon.”

“Really fresh & delicious seafood. The freshness of the seafood really shines through compared to all other fish and chips shop. We’ve ordered different fish (salmon, barramundi, rock king, perch), prawns, calamari, Morton bay bugs, The sides are okay, but definitely not a standout compared to the seafood. There is plenty of seating for dining - some outdoors & indoors. There is a little aquarium indoors for kids to look at. Despite the ample seating, this place can get quite popular in a weekend evening.”

Needs to make a booking do avoid disappointment… but I called an hour before we went and still got a table… the waitresses are so kind. I think the owner was there too watching his costumers enjoy their meals!!!”

Food was great and interesting with plenty of new dishes I had never had before - a welcome and tasty experience for all of us. “Californian / Best Coaster here. I thought the west coast of the US had some of the best Chinese food in the world. But, Ping's is probably my all time favorite Chinese restaurant in the world. Their Mapo Tofu has the perfect amount of Sichuan peppers. Their dumplings are literally everything and their fried rice is amazing. What was amazing to me was how fast the food was pushed out. Whoever is in the back kitchen has some serious wok skills. Every single time I am in Melbourne, I head over to Ping's. I would highly highly recommend this place to anyone including tourist.”

Has a small garden outside to breathe fresh air and talk. Sometimes can have some events for college or business people so better sit outside or reserve your seat. Has ATM inside too.
