“Easy parking nearby and the pool is very child friendly. The pool fee is reasonable and there is a 2hr session time which prevents overcrowding. You will enjoy this if you have children. Mostly in the sun, so wear sunscreen and bring your hat.”

“Whenever I think about the gym, first and the foremost thing comes to my mind is “Listen to the iron, it can change your life” So a proper gym should have free weights, machines and an aerobic section for cardiovascular exercises. So I prefer this Recreation Centre. The trainers are very friendly and gives proper instructions. This is my favourite gym!!!”

“Excellent hotel. Friendly staff with excellent parking. Short walk to park for kids with a BBQ if needs be. The hotel is impressive, stylish, clean and warm. Very enjoyable with no discomfort walking in or out. Is also very disability accessible with very few tight places or levels to traverse.”

“Loved it here! Loved that the rooms had floorboards, cleaner feel than carpet. Quiet location, but not too far from surrounding central Melbourne. Perfect room size and ensuite. Cute balcony as well. Even had fully equipped kitchen. Service was lovely, notified the owner that I was going to check in after hours and she accommodated perfectly. Very affordable, will definitely be returning.”

“Great big beach for dogs. Be careful as there are occasionally horses here too. Lots of parking, playground on the foreshore for the kids, cafe above the bowling club and toilets on the ground floor.”

“A lovely space to enjoy a walk with our dog. Provides a popular electric BBQ and covered picnic facilities. The lake attracts birdlife. Lots of adventure play opportunities for the kids. A good craft/food market held last Saturday of the month.”

“My family and I stayed here for close to 4 months while one of my daughters received treatment at the Royal Children’s Hospital. This place became our second home. The owners, reception and cleaners are all so lovely and went out of their way to get to know myself and my family, and made us feel at home. The cleaners would even let my young children help them service our room. Beds are comfy, the water is hot, the rooms are clean, and it’s a 5 minute walk to the Royal Children’s. What more can you ask for. Thank you for having us!”
