“I love going to the piano bar. The staff are so friendly. They remember you and really look after you. The managers Cindy and Aaron make you feel like part of the family. The drag performers are amazing. So fun and very inclusive. I often take my 11yo daughter and the queens are so lovely to her. I definitely recommend the piano bar for anyone looking for a fun night out.”

“He had me at free pretzels! We were warmly welcomed by the main bar tender Torquil who promptly handed me a bowl of pretzels. They made a spiffing negroni, talked us through the menu with ease and suggested a wine as well which was delightful on the taste buds as his candor behind the bar.”

We enjoyed tasty arancini and a novel beer tasting paddle with paired cheeses. I really appreciate their sustainable-mindedness also. Great spot and recommend it to others.”

“Great experience! We were strolling Ballarat town centre while showing my cousin from overseas around when we found Harry Limes. Not a lot of restaurants were open on that day, we were glad this one was. The owner looked after us very well! The restaurant was clean and cosy, the food was great and the serving was generous. Going to the bathrooms, you have to pass through their kitchen, it was very clean and fresh smelling. I believe we found one of the gems in Ballarat. Highly recommended.”

“Such a charming space to relax and sample some beautiful cheese and wine! Just the building itself is worth the visit. The service was so warm and welcoming, we loved hearing about the history of the building from the wonderful guy who served us. When asked he was so enthusiastic about sharing the history despite being very busy. Such a lovely experience.”

“Had 2 medium sized pizzas and a minestrone soup. The pizzas were great and ingredients in pizzas were fresh. The minestrone soup was a little too thick for our liking but it was flavourful, as we were used to the more diluted version without pasta in the soup.”
