“If you like pizza with a different crust than any other pizza place, then you're going to love this place! The crust is perfect (I was mind-blown when I ate for the first time as soon as they opened), and the sauce is good and not too heavy. You always know you're going to get a good pizza when you order from these guys. I seriously want this spot to be tried by everyone, but at the same time, selfishly, I want it all to myself. I tried Golden Panther, Mexican, and Peri-Peri chicken yet and You are going to love it too. I am coming back to try some different pizza’s some time soon.”

“Fabulous pizza place!! We tried the Romana, Hawaiian and Meat Lovers pizzas and each one was excellent. The dough base is soft, loads of topping and the crust has a nice crunch. Highly recommended for those living around Bentleigh East.”

“Tried their Wednesday steak deal for the first time tonight. Very generous serve of top quality porterhouse. More than I could consume. Nice chips and salad alongside the great meat. Highly recommended. Returned recently for another great steak dinner. Amazed that the price is still the same. A very filling meal from friendly staff.”

“Easy to use app with tracker enables you to know just how your order us progressing. Thus us particularly useful if you are picking up. The store is clean and staff are super friendly and efficient. The pizza itself is tasty and toppings are generous and evenly spread. All in all a seamless experience and I'll definitely order again.”

“Had the chirashi for lunch ($22), was well worth it. The portions were huge and nice thick cuts. An assortment of salmon, tuna, kingfish, eel, squid & scallop along with wasabi and gari. I arrived at 11:50am and there were only maybe 3 customers, so I recommend going before 12 to beat the rush as 20 mins later customers were coming in thick and fast. Their sushi platters look sensational so I’ll try them next time.”

“An amazing local pizza joint at a great price. I’ve tried a few of the pizzas here and recommend the Mexicana and east bentleigh. They do really good pepperoni/salami pizzas. The crust is light and crispy but only good when fresh. Expect to pay $17-20 for a large pizza here.”

“Absolutely fantastic pizza, brought me back to Napoli. Textbook Margherita pizza, and the Mickey Mouse Hawaiian Pizza was incredible and the kids loved it. I have never seen that before. The staff also provided crayons to the kids to draw on the table cloth. We will be back for sure.”

“I love this place. Hands down best food on earth. The katsu chicken bento box they sell is my absolute favourite food of all time and their avocado sushi is a very close second. Their lychee and aloe vera juice is also yum and their sushi is affordable and amazing compared to other sushi restaurants. I hope this establishment continues to stay open for as long as I live so I can have katsu chicken until the day I die.”

“I've had there pizzas hot dogs and hot wings with blue cheese. All there food is amazing and have very friendly staff. I used to travel 2 hours to eat there. 5 stars”

“I've been to Al Forno three times now, and each time has been excellent. It's just a small local eatery, but it's well worth a visit. The food is always delicious and the service is great too. They're really accomodating when making adjustments to pasta dishes, and always get your requests right. Their gnocchi is superb and so soft, and their sauces are fantastic. I've had the gnocchi with chicken and avocado in a cream sauce, and I've had a gnocchi with chicken and avocado in a yummy curry sauce (sooooo good and way better than it might sound to some). Two out of the three visits, I've had and shared the chocolate mousse. The first time was delicious and the second time it tasted more like a light chocolate pudding/whip. The only minor negative I can say about Al Forno (and this is purely nitpicking), they don't play music so there's no real ambiance to the restaurant. Having said that, the decor is nice enough and the staff are friendly, so couple all of that with beautiful food, and this is now my favourite local Italian eatery. I highly recommend it. It's great for dinners with the family and it's really well priced.”

I like sashimi very much because the fish is so fresh, I tried other sushi restaurant in this street I think their fish quality is not as good as Taiko. I went this shop 3 times in a week it is really nice!!! I don’t know why many people give some bad review because I remember the staff always ask us ' You enjoy the meal? If I order drink they always ask us 'Do you need ice? ...... Anyway I will coma back again.”

“Great brunch place. Everything was delicious. We had the green eggs and ham, tomato medley and potato gems. Green eggs and ham was the highlight, would recommend. Tomato medley was cool with the various tomatoes but the dish was a bit basic. Gems were great. Golden gaytime and orange juice were good as well.”
