“A great place to pop in for a tasty and fresh NY style slice. The dough was flavourful, the base was crispy and well cooked - nice to see them preparing the pizzas in front of you fresh as there are a lot of quite dodgy looking places with old pizzas in the counter in the area. This isn’t one. The slices are nice and big and juicy - we had a classic pepperoni - and good value for money. If you dine in, there are a few booths and tables with oregano, Parmesan and chilli sprinkles. Perfect for a rainy refuge. Will be back.”

“So far, Sal's has the best NYC style pizza I've had here in Melbourne (US expat with many years of NYC pizza experience). Pepperoni and sausage slices done the right way, crust and sauce hit the mark, fair price and friendly service. Not heaps of ambience, as it's really a hole in the wall with a row of stools and some tables outside, but it's perfect for a quick stop before and/or after happy hour at the local bars. It will be hard to walk past and not get a slice or three, maybe the whole pie next time(s). Highly recommend for this style of pizza.”

“This place serves amazing breakfast & coffee. It is very reasonably priced and their portioning is generous. The eggs benedict was just perfect. Eggs were nicely cooked, nicely paired with your choice of protein and amazing sourdough. The breakfast special was really delicious and unique as well. I’ve never had pumpkin and potato pulled pork before and I’m glad my first time was good. The kids pancake was the best pancakes I’ve ever eaten, GET IT.”

“This place is a must if you are in Cowes. Between my husband and I, we were told 2 mains and a small nachos is enough and boy, we are big eaters and couldn't finish it all. The fajitas were incredible and super tasty. Not to mention, their drinks are great! We will be back!”

We were met by a lovely member of staff who is a genuine credit to the restaurant, didn't catch her name but she was a brunette and she made us feel warm and welcome! The food was exquisite! We ordered prawn linguine, Sri Lankan curry, garlic pizza bread and some chippies, all tasted phenomenal! All easy to order using the QR code and the service was quick. Lovely views of the coast whilst enjoying our dinner and the music was great. Will definitely go again.”

“Great portion with a fair price! I’d say this is one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Kangastralia. You can’t miss their hand rolls! They are the besttttt!!!!! I recommended their salmon California hand roll with wasabi ;) The takoyaki is a bit tasteless though, hopefully they can improve that part.”
