“I have been a customer of this Pharmacy since It first opened. I am a regular customer, at least fortnightly If not weekly. Gone are the days of more staff than Is needed for customer service etc. The last thing I would want to do In these times of social media, online reviews and the costs of running a business, Is to run a small business. Seriously, what business these days aren't busy? I go to the Post Office, busy. I go to the supermarket, busy. I go to the petrol station, yes busy. Do people give any consideration to the cost of putting on extra staff? Wages, Payroll Tax, Super, Sick Pay, Insurance etc. People mention frequently the wait times they are experiencing, well let's just put on another 5 staff, easy fix right? Have I had to wait at times for scripts, yes? Have I had to wait at times longer than I would want, yes? So I changed my habits. I take advantage of the Medadvisor service. I sometimes call ahead to check the progress etc. I am more interested In a pharmacy with accurate dispensing than getting my scripts 10 minutes quicker. In coming to this pharmacy for over ten years I have had zero mistakes made with my medications and as I said at the start I'm a frequent flyer. The customer service girls are always friendly and helpful and the Pharmacists are professional. I am not shy in communicating my expectations but I do so In the beginning In a friendly manner and If things are not working I can then change my demeanour. I think a lot of people these days, and I'm speaking I know In a very general sense start with loudness and outrage first. I read several reviews, one by a nurse about missing medication of drugs of dependence. That reviewer mentioned the strict protocols when it came to dispensing these medications and I think it's important to expand a little on what that reviewer said. I am also prescribed heavily regulated drugs of dependence. I was taught by my Doctor and by a previous Pharmacy that you always check these medications In front of the Pharmacist before you leave with these drugs. I always check that the seals of these medications are intact. I would encourage anyone on these medications and I'm sure the Nurse would agree with me to get Into this habit regardless of which Pharmacy you use. I know a lot of the girls by name now and they know me by name, did I mention I am a frequent flyer, lol? The current manager Is Dhruti and she Is lovely. Always greets me by name and with a smile. She has always been helpful and professional In her dealings with me. I am not dismissing any person's experiences that have left a review, negative or positive, I just wanted to remind everyone that people that have a negative experience are much more likely to leave a negative review than people that have a positive experience are to leave a positive review and my experiences using this Pharmacy over the long term have been positive.
