We went with a bit of a blue velvet jacket and classic tapered leg pants! Making decisions is easy as Adam is passionate about suits! He won’t let you leave looking bad. Haha I have a strange body shape, long legs and arms and a barrel chest, so getting a custom suit is a dream! Thanks legend!”

There's usually wine to taste, fresh vegetables, curry pastes, sourdough bread, coffee and live music along with other goods such as soaps, plants, hats and toys. Great atmosphere and nice thing to do on a Saturday in Banno ;)”

“If you live in Geelong and need to update your Tv or any household appliances, go see Jonno at JB HiFi Geelong-market Square. Jonna helped me purchase a new tv, laptop and a few other things. First question he asked me re the tv was " what do you watch most on tv?" he then went on to sell me the products that suited me, not just the most expensive option. Jonno was very knowledgeable on all of the items we bought and didn't just go the upsell.! Even when i was having trouble installing the anti-virus and had an issue, he told me to bring the laptop in and he did it for me! “I can't praise the staff enough at this store. I had a Maxwell dinnerware set that had begun to show silverware deposits quite badly. I had bought this set to replace a cheap IKEA set that had this same problem, so I was quite upset it had happened again, especially with a brand like Maxwell. I had taken it to the Waurn Ponds store where I had bought it from. They were very condescending and rude, despite being polite and informative that this is a product fault and not my own (I have researched this issue a lot). I was very upset and left. In contrast, the staff at Geelong store were great. They were able to find the purchase despite no receipt. The manager (not sure of his name) clearly sets a friendly and helpful environment for his staff. They were able to kindly process the refund. It's so rare to find good customer service these days, so I am very thankful.”

“As a cake maker Cakesmith is the only place I would go to, to get cakes made for me!!! I've been making cakes professionally for over 15 years, when I had my 40th recently I knew exactly who to go to, to create the cake bar of my dreams (that i didn't have to make for a change!) So she is engaged too, while we were having food. When I dined in with my lil bub, the waitress given me a good spot in the cafe, where I had privacy to feed him as well. “Not just a retail outlet. These people are a service provider. Recently bought a high end laptop for work to be used by specialist consultant. The one day we needed the laptop to work perfectly was the day it died. It was a Saturday and there was no plan B. Took laptop in to the Bendigo brance (where I bought it from) and they spent 2 hours on a Saturday morning getting it going again, saving our data, our project and probably job. Can not express the relief I felt. Great job and support.”

Although it seemed to be an issue caused by my client, JB's area manager, with the prompting by the store manager, came through for my client, wearing the loss, all because they saw my client was indeed in serious need for a 'fix' to his problem. Subsequently i cannot rate their service highly enough and encourage anyone to give their business to not only JB hi-fi, but specifically the Waurn Ponds store.
