“The best gluten free restaurant in all of Melbourne. All the dishes are nothing short of amazing and the entire menu is gluten free. They are also extremely mindful of allergies and have a lot of vegan options. I can highly recommended the duck curry and the chicken satay rice bowl. Both are amazing and to die for.”

“One of the best local options whilst being around Mornington Peninsula. Really friendly staff and very helpful to let you know of the daily specials. most of the food have been absolutely delicious. Though one thing is that the flavour of the onion soup wasn't quite what we were expecting. Overall a lovely experience!”

“A world class experience. My partner Chelsea and I had dinner here last night and it was absolutely amazing. Hands down one of the best restaurants and amazing experiences we have had. We have dined at many restaurants around the world however The Cape restaurant is a really a stand out (and so close to home). Staff were attentive, charming and very professional. Every dish served was delicious and impressive to the eye. Amazing selection of local wines. Thank you to Aaron and the team for such a wonderful night.”

“Very delicious food! The staff are very polite, and they catered for us even though we only ordered a set meal for 2 even though we had 3 people. The restaurant was very aesthetic and scenery was delightful, great place to take pictures! Was not very busy as we came at around 11:30. We ordered the scallops for entree, barramundi and bass Strait lamb shoulder for mains, and a lemon myrtle tart for dessert. Was all delicious, will come again.”

“Went there with my partner and two young kids. Staff were really nice even though the kids were acting up a little. Food was really great which showed with one kid eating all his food without having to be asked. Very reasonably priced too. Only criticism would be that I ordered a coke zero and it came in a glass and think it was post mix. Really do like my cokes in a can with a glass. Would go back.”

“Met up with friends we'd not seen in decades. Of all the places we could have chosen we were all so glad to have met up, caught up and shared such delicious dishes together. We felt bad to have chatted till 4pm but the staff were so attentive and understand and we really appreciated effectively having the restaurant to ourselves to catch up again. Thanks again and cannot recommend this restaurant enough as a great place for food wine and atmosphere in Mornington.”

“Great location with views of the bay. The service was great, they catered for my dietary requirements - highly recommend the scallops = delicious - the eggplant tacos were a hit as well, they offered mine to be served in a lettuce leaf as a gf option, the barramundi was very soft & tasty. Can’t fault this restaurant, we will definitely be back!”

“Unfortunately, I never got to have my food this time as Menulog did not deliver it. I have ordered from them on a number of occasions and it is 10 out of 10. when I rang to let the restaurant know, the kind, generous man there was concerned if I had eaten. Had closed down and was cleaning up, wanted to start everything up again and cook me the order and then deliver it himself on the way home from a hard days work. He also rang Menulog and they rang me back trying to tell me that my PayPal could not be put back in for 7 to 10 days. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM. I told them I needed to speak to a manager and it was put straight back in my account. My sincere thanks to the kind, considerate and hardworking people from this establishment. Please order all your fish & chips burgers ect from them. They are lovely people, and we should do our best to help the good businesses out. Thankyou. Lea.G”

“Lovely restaurant! Nice calm vibe, attentive staff and really yummy food. We had a table of 7 and all food and drinks came out in a timely manner. We went for the breakfast menu, I’ll definitely be back for lunch or dinner.”

“Appellation Oysters - Very Good. The kosho, finger lime & sisho added an interesting Japanese flavour to the fresh oysters (a bit small though) Hirasama Kingfish - Excellent. Fish was nicely cooked to medium (skin was crispy), and the supporting cast - carrot cardamon, cavlolo-nero, squid ink tuile and wild samphire - added interesting textures and flavours to the kingfish. Seafood Linguine - Very Good. We removed the chili to make it kid-friendly, but the flavour of the garlic and lime beurre blanc still made for a wholesome broth. The complimentary bread rolls were infused with mushrooms (flavour, not the actual fungi) - a huge hit with our toddler.”

“With a recommendation from a friend, we took a friend for her birthday. You will not be disappointed by the food nor the service. The selection of wine to Compliment each dish you ate. The expresso Martini made fresh to order. The food, and I highly recommend doing a taster, entree, main and dessert. I left almost 3 hours later fully satisfied and the service was impeccable. I will be returning again. Thank you for a lovely lunch experience.”

“Fantastic thai food here. Ordered take away and had a pleasant service from the team. The Beef Fried Rice was tasty and not oily at all. Also had the Tom Yum and satay skewers. Recommended place to eat in the area”

“We get Nandos as its one of the few places that can cater for her allergies. The staff there are always super helpful and the food is good. We usually get takeaway but ate in this time. No issues with our food and that our daughter can actually eat out somewherr without an issue is worth the visit”
