“This family friendly restaurant had a very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. The team were friendly and welcoming. A little surprised the food took 45 minutes to arrive being that the restaurant was only 1/3 full, but we really enjoyed our meals regardless. I wanted to try a pizza after reading all the rave reviews. It was very nice, but for me it tasted as though it was missing some flavour (maybe herbs or a seasoned oil drizzle to give it more of a kick). We also enjoyed a side of broccolini. Plenty of local wines, beers and ciders to choose from too. All reasonably priced.”

“Awesome meal & service. Dined here 21/04/2022 for dinner. We had entrees & mains. Entrees consisted of Cheesy Garlic bread & wedges with avocado, sweet chilli sauce, & sour cream. As it was Schnitzel night, we had two seafood toppings & one Mexican topping. The mains were huge & great value. Great service & the venue was pretty chilled. TAB, Keno & pokies available if you want.”

“Great place to stay in Healesville, with amazing views and cozy in Winter with great heating (and cooling for Summers). Very good value and a great host who is very helpful and does actually care that you enjoy your stay. It’s a big lovely old homestead that’s been converted into apartments. The Terrace apt is clean and modernised without losing it’s old character and it well maintained. Thanks Gaylene!!!”

“Friendly hospitality just as it should be. We stopped in just for Sunday coffee. The wonderful staff accommodated us with smiles, even though they were busting at the seams busy. We chose the croissants, each with an 8 minute wait while they’re freshly baked. Served on little wooden boards with condiments. Exquisite! The pastries were pure, indulgent melt in the mouth delicious. Smooth, buttery and light just as they should be. And the best we’ve had since Paris. Coffee was smooth and flavourful. This place is one of the busiest eateries in the Healesville hub, and with one stop in you’ll see why. Highly recommend.”

“Such a cute place, full of plants and cute decor. The food and coffee was great too- the fries were so so delicious! The staff was beautiful too, especially the older gentleman, he was accomodating and ensured that our experience was positive by checking in with a smile and a laugh. Beautifully placed on the town also, great for people watching!”

There's always something crazy good on the secret menu and most of our guests tell us after their visit to Monroe's that it's literally the best burger they've ever tasted...
