Werribee Park Mansion
● Closed“This place is definitely worth a visit. Went here with family last week and was in awe of the place. Although pruned, the air still had the perfume of the roses. The winding walkways lined with different trees (with names) lead to the mansion. There was a paterre beautifully planted with different colored silverbeet. The entry to the mansion was free for the day so we got a chance to explore. There were many rooms to look at and fresh produce on display. Helpful and informed attendants gladly answered any questions and gave additional information too. There is also a ballroom upstairs where they engage the audience with a group dance. The ladies and gentlemen were dressed in traditional costumes and walked around everyone, happily clicking pictures. Outside the mansion, there was a walkway away a grotto, but was unfortunately closed. We walked around it and went off. There are cafes to eat up but best to bring a picnic basket to sit on the beautiful lawns. Ample space for the kids to monkey around. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a relaxing spot.”

Melbourne Museum
● Open“Wonderful atmosphere to have a relaxed walk. So many things to explore and it will take the whole day for sure. The historic and pre historic sections is the highlight of the showcases. With the projections and screens, they have taken it to next level with detailed narrations. The sections showcasing the rich cultural history of Australia is also a great hall to be discovered. Since its free for students, not much burden as well.”

THE BIG GOOSE

He especially loved feeding the kangaroos and wallabies by hand in the open enclosure and seeing the wombats up close during feeding time. The tractor ride is free and was good fun. There’s also a number of play grounds scattered through the property which we enjoyed. We’d recommend to anyone!”

McKinnon Reserve Playground
● Open226 Tucker Road, McKinnon VIC 3204, Australia“Great park. Great children's playground. Lots of sports, with cricket through summer and AFL through winter. But adults and children practice all sports all year round. Be aware this is a dog's OFF LEAD park and the number and variety of dogs and owners is a cosmopolitan dream. Not many aggressive dogs and they're a nuisance, but they're owners should be reported.”

Story House Early Learning Tarneit
● Open“My son has been going to Story House Early Learning since he was 3 months old. He is now a year old and i have always had a great experience. My son is well looked after and i do not have to worry. Tania, Nikka, Carolina, Courtney, Fantu, Wendy, Emily and all the other ladies at Story House have been amazing. I would highly recommend this daycare to any parents/caregivers. You will get daily updates on what your child is doing with pictures from the app along with what they ate, nappies etc. If they are any issues the ladies are prompt in letting you know. Everyone i have come across has been warm and lovely.”

Tarneit World of Learning

They have gone above and beyond for my children whether it be for their birthdays , or to celebrate a holiday / religious day and I am forever grateful for the diversity this centre provides. Emily and Dani the manager and assistant manager, are very understanding, efficient and genuinely care for the children within this centre.”

Amaroo Childcare Centre
● Open“There are very few child care centres in the eastern suburbs like Amaroo. I would know. I looked at A LOT before deciding to place my son in the care of Amaroo. As a first time day care mum ensuring that the people looking after my boy were people I could trust was the most important thing to me. Frankly, no other daycare centre even comes close to competing with how incredible the educators and management are at Amaroo. They are a family owned and run centre and that’s exactly how it feels. Like your kid is going to be looked after by family. I immediately felt at ease when I walked into Amaroo. There is no sense of ‘selling’ their service. Just pure confidence in the environment they’ve created. The educators and Ebony are genuine, warm, open, passionate and friendly. My son was immediately comfortable there. I love their focus on outdoor play and nature. I love that my son gets to say hello to their resident turtles greeting him in the tank in the foyer and putting a smile on his face. But most of all, the staff are truly wonderful. The turnover is low. Which personally, spoke volumes to me about the work environment that’s been created at Amaroo. It feels like a community and the staff welcome you in with open arms. I would never send my child any where else.”

Aspire Childcare Centre - Thornhill Park
● Open“We love Aspire. Don't get me wrong we have minor issues arise (as you would at any center - especially a brand new one!) BUT the educators, lead room educators and management always take the time to discuss any concerns you may have. Personally, having our voices heard when it comes to our children AND seeing the changes/improvements is extremely important to us. Many compliments for all the educators that care for our children however a massive shout out to Pam in room 3. We see the way she loves & cares for the children. Our daughter loves her. She plans beautiful activities for the children, gives them so much love and attention, always provides detailed updates on the day and never rushes you out the door. This afternoon I watched through the window as Pam sat on the ground surrounded by the children singing with the biggest smile on her face. All the children were happy and participating. You can see they adore her.”
