Stumbled across her by chance on Instagram, and instantly felt comfortable enough to post her my old jewellery and gemstones and then trusted her to create the most beautiful engagement ring. I get stopped by strangers asking about it. Her communication was amazing, her work is exceptional, and now I keep buying stuff from her… I would consider her “my jeweller” which sounds so ridiculous, but honestly I’ve entrusted her with some very precious, sentimental things and I wouldn’t go anywhere else frankly. “Almost a year since opening as a live music venue and so far is proving to be one of the best places in town to catch a band. Recently upgraded d&b line array for those that care about quality sound. Staff that really care for the patrons. Great local acts as well as international artists are playing here all the time.”

“We love Perry St as does our daughter. The wonderful caring staff are amazing and most of them have been there for quite some time. The food is fantastic and the outdoor space is lovely with chickens and plants and herbs growing. The educators and centre staff are responsive and caring and always open to any questions. “Lovely little joint! Had a wonderful time with my partner and loved ones, seeing our family from out of town, Adam, doing a session at Open Studio. The hostess and staff we interacted with were all SO lovely and accommodating as well, as we had a disabled, elderly family member with us, and really, it was like they couldn't do enough to help and make her visit there as comfortable as possible. The outdoor garden out the back is also like a hidden gem. It reminded me of a fairy garden or something from Alice In Wonderland, with beautiful antique chandeliers hanging with climbing plants and vines, it was so charming. Would love to visit again.”

“This is the kind of place you know will be good when you walk in the door. The food, service and atmosphere here are perfect for a bite to eat. I don’t usually struggle to choose a meal, but there were so many options that caught my eye. The staff were polite and the food was served with a perfect amount of time to settle and chat between servings. A stand out for me was their Agedashi Tofu, the broth was a perfect amount of sweet and salty, with a great consistency and the tofu was prepared incredibly well. The atmosphere was laid back and the service was prompt with seating, clearing and serving. The music wasn’t over powering and the seating was comfortable. Currently the menu on their website is out of date, however the same type of meals are being served. If you’re around the area and craving something good to eat I highly recommend giving IROHA a go!”

“My partner and I love Wesley Anne. The atmosphere is always lovey and cozy but never too loud. We do prefer to sit outside as the fire has been silenced over winter. Ordering is super easy and food & drink magically appears. Never a long wait. Good options are great nice to have meat, veg and vegan. It is become our casual date night spot!”

“Annie Dennis is one of the best early education centres in Northcote. They have an amazing team of educators who really care for the kids in a personalised way and create thoughtful experiences and activities for the kids - testament to their play based learning approach. They have and continue to invest in upgrading their facilities and play spaces to create a wonderful environment complete with pet Guinea pigs and rabbits to boot. We love how the educators all team together, and how the centre invests in its team and planning so that the kids get the best experiences, education and care. It’s a fantastic community run centre where we have loved having our 3 kids go through and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to friends and family.”
