Southbank Theatre

● Closed
140 Southbank Boulevard, Southbank VIC 3006, Australia

“Cyrano was captivating, engulfing and funny. Every time I leave the theatre, I feel as though my mind and vocabulary have both been expanded. When you watch a live production, there is no editing, it can’t be re-done, what you see is what you get. It will never be exactly the same twice.”

Village Cinemas Crown

● Open
8 Whiteman Street, Southbank VIC 3006, Australia

“Hadn't been to Gold Class for many years or even to any cinema for that matter. We had gift vouchers so thought we would use them. It was much better than I remember and we were treated very nicely. We watched Oppenheimer which was a long movie. I ordered a choc top ice cream and a green tea. The ice cream was very fresh and very nice. In the middle of the movie we ordered bottles of water. We had a nice night.”

Arts Centre Melbourne

● Closed
100 Saint Kilda Road, Southbank VIC 3004, Australia

“Such a lovely place! Plenty of things to eat and drink in the Arts Center without much wait, but all around as well as it’s very close to Flinders. The Playhouse theatre is beautiful, with an classic style, a great Melbourne attraction. I watched a Roald Dahl play, and loved it! The actors were lots of fun! This is a very busy place, with hundreds of people coming and going for the shows and the restaurants. Take a stroll outside and under the bridge for a few more dinner choices and a beautiful view of the Yarra River.”

Hamer Hall

“Hamer Hall is a great venue for concerts and other musical performances. I have seen artists as diverse as Cyndi Lauper, David Helfgott and Suzi Quatro, here. Today though here for Olivia Newton John memorial which was very moving and beautiful tribute to her. Seated back row middle level and view was good, much better than I thought it would be. And when Delta sang her tribute I thought the acoustics were amazing! 2.7 here for a tribute to Aretha Franklin, 5 great singers, a great night, crowd loved it, including my husband! Also enjoyable with couple of sparkling wines (En Vie).”
