“Such a lovely place! Plenty of things to eat and drink in the Arts Center without much wait, but all around as well as it’s very close to Flinders. The Playhouse theatre is beautiful, with an classic style, a great Melbourne attraction. I watched a Roald Dahl play, and loved it! The actors were lots of fun! This is a very busy place, with hundreds of people coming and going for the shows and the restaurants. Take a stroll outside and under the bridge for a few more dinner choices and a beautiful view of the Yarra River.”

“Hamer Hall is a great venue for concerts and other musical performances. I have seen artists as diverse as Cyndi Lauper, David Helfgott and Suzi Quatro, here. Today though here for Olivia Newton John memorial which was very moving and beautiful tribute to her. Seated back row middle level and view was good, much better than I thought it would be. And when Delta sang her tribute I thought the acoustics were amazing! 2.7 here for a tribute to Aretha Franklin, 5 great singers, a great night, crowd loved it, including my husband! Also enjoyable with couple of sparkling wines (En Vie).”

“We had our most special day, our wedding day (22/01/2023) at Metropolis..... The venue is beautiful, its floor-to-ceiling windows that provide a back-drop and view of the CBD with its night lights are breath-taking. We were lucky enough to have the amazing "Georgia" as our Event Planner and she is quite literally a SUPER STAR!!! We would like to extend our greatest appreciation to all the team at Metropolis. Everything went extremely smoothly, the service was outstanding (with no exaggeration – just excellent!), the food was delightful. The organisation was phenomenal, table settings and ground crew that enabled this were MAGNIFICENT!!! Nothing seemed to be too much of an issue at all! We will certainly remember this magical day at this superior venue for the rest of our lives!”
