Lately one of my kids has had some emotional issues, and her educators have been absolutely wonderful in talking and working with me to address what's going on, and help her. She has needed (and received) some extra attention and care, and I couldn't be more appreciative. I feel my daughter is genuinely cared about, which is my primary want in a childcare.”

“My daughter joined Starfish when she was 6 weeks old. Being a first time mum and new to child care I was very apprehensive cautious about centres. I viewed over ten centres but none of them came close to Starfish. Tonii and the team were so helpful and I felt that the level of service and detail was excellent - they were an integral part of me being able to return to work full time and maintain my career without ever having to worry about the level of care and education my daughter was receiving. After one of their sites was sold we remained on however it became apparent very quickly that the new management were a far cry from the high level of professionalism we had become accustomed to - within 9 months we returned to Starfish, willing to travel a bit out of our way to ensure education, cleanliness, care and attention to detail weren't compromised. The communication from educators is clear and positive, and offeted daily. Any issue is raised swiftly, with regular feedback and updates on our child offered (they offer funny anecdotes and observations, not just updates when there is an incident) and it is always timely, never days later or without context/relevance. Management give regular and informative communication and are always pro-active. A strong sense of community is encouraged, with fundraising and charity days supported as well as cultural diversity explored and promoted. My daughter graduated Kinder this week and the Starfish team have played a massive role in shaping her character and emotional well-being, and her intelligence. We are sad to leave this chapter of our lives behind and will miss the roles the members of the team have played in our lives over the past five years. They have moved from being service providers to a second family. The team are second to none and I couldn't recommend the centres more highly.”

“What an exceptional Centre to send my boys to! The director and staff have been so overly welcoming and compassionate in the boys transition to this Centre. My sons have built relationships with the other children and educators so quickly which has been so pleasing to see. The communication is consistent and they always handle matters in a professional manner. The educational activities provided for my children are always targeted towards the needs of the children and their individual interests. My boys have absolutely thrived by attending this Centre and I would highly recommend to anyone!”

“When I enrolled my daughter in this daycare, I never thought that Firoozeh from Little Stars would surprise me with birthday parties for my daughter every year, plus a framed picture so that we can restore these memories that our daughter had at this daycare. Dear Firoozeh, I thank you very much for the great moments that Parya, my daughter had at this daycare and you have also supported me just like a sister and a good friend along the way. Parya too agrees and says Firoozeh is a wonderful teacher. Also, at Little Stars, Firoozeh provides the best opportunities for kids to play and socialise with each other, so they can get ready for school later on in their lives.”

We have compared and visited multiple childcare centres around the area and this centre stands out with all our expectations met. - New facilities - Childcare workers providing insightful daily updates - Friendly staff who engage with all parents. - Perfect staff to child ratio - Phone apps to communicate, photos, live feeds, newsletter and social gatherings - Amazing set food menu - Easy parking and pickups. Definitely worth a visit to see first hand on what the centre has to offer.”

“Beautiful spot for a walk, a run, a picnic, rolling down mini hills, fishing, kayaking and more. Few off leash areas for the doggos but they’ll have a good time just around the lake on leash, plenty of sniffing to do.”

“A great place situated in the centre of oakleigh south. Amazing and huge park for dogs with an off leash area. There are a lot of dogs that come to this park so it would great if you want to socialise your dog with others. Be mindful that the park is not fenced, so if you fur buddy is prone to running, this park may not be suitable. This park also has a dog exercise area with cleaning supplies provided by the council. Highly recommended for a good hour of play”

“We recently had our daughter’s birthday party here and it was so much fun. Everything was organised and taken care by Beanie and her team that we could spend time with our guests and enjoy. The children had fun with the arm painting , glow bangles and the dance steps . Megan, the part host was awesome! The Madfun team organised the timings for eating, dancing , dance games , cake cutting such that everyone had fun! They even cut and served the cake to all. I would rate it as a great party venue . “Fantastic place to play for kids 0-5! Pram access makes it awesome and easy for walk ins when I don't have the car. There is a Cafe that serves you inside the Playspace area. Toilets are close to the pram friendly doors. Has AC and heating .”
