Kinderclub Child Care Centre
● Closed“Our daughter has been attending Kinderclub for over two years. We have always felt at home with the carers and love the family dynamic of the shared environments inside and out. While the facilities may not be as flash as some, the team has a big heart and offers the support, guidance, and nurturing that children need to explore their interests and new ideas. We love that the centre is always evolving with monthly programs, improvement projects, cultural exploration, and sustainable/green initiatives. Thanks for all you do for our family!”

My daughter been in love with toddler 1 room since her 1st day,she feels it's her home. she doesn't want to leave when we pick her up every afternoon and my son been going almost 2 years now. My son is neurodivergent so he's not easy to handle and often throw tantrums especially during drop off time but the educators knows how to manage him. They provide what he needs for learn and works together to promote his strengths. We notices he has improves a lot. Together with this centre we optimistic that my son can attend normal school. As now he is more comfortable and confident when we not around. This centre also working together with my son Therapist ( speech therapy, OT ). Their collaboration have provided great strategies to helps him with his development. Especially thank you to centre manager Maddie, pre kinder team leader Michaella and teams for your hard work and dedication”

St Mary’s College (Edmund Rice Campus)
● Closed“My daughter transferred in Year 10. She was barely attending her previous school and they had seemingly had no problem with her attending school 1 day a week. At St Marys she has blossomed and has loved going to school attending the full week happily. The teachers are great and she has a great connection with them and the level of education is far better than her previous school. The opportunities she has had at St mary's have been extensive and we have a child who is excited about attending school which is amazing. The school had reached out and ensured she has settled in well and check in with us as parents as to her wellbeing. Great school... recommend.”

Artea - Art School & Party Venue
● Open“My daughter had her 8th birthday party here. I found Helen and her team very organised, professional and they are fantastic with kids! Helen took the time to explain how the party works, she took care of everything while I managed to take photos and even be in the photos. We did the clay party which included food, the art activity, a disco and pass the parcel. We were so impressed with the party that I enrol my daughter in art based activities at Artea during the school holidays. I definitely recommend Artea for kids parties and their art classes.”

Bald Hill Park
● Open“A great place situated in the centre of oakleigh south. Amazing and huge park for dogs with an off leash area. There are a lot of dogs that come to this park so it would great if you want to socialise your dog with others. Be mindful that the park is not fenced, so if you fur buddy is prone to running, this park may not be suitable. This park also has a dog exercise area with cleaning supplies provided by the council. Highly recommended for a good hour of play”

Luna Park Melbourne
● Open“Didn't realise when went there at 11am on a Sunday morning would need to queue for 20 minutes before we got in, even though we had brought entry tickets online. But once inside, fantastic! However for reasons I can't explain the first thing I did was get on the Dragonboat ride, which in my day was the Pirate Ship, with a friends 14 year old son. We sat right at the back and then I thought I should move 2 rows down, Thank goodness. Oh my when I did this as a teenager I found it exhilarating but not so today, I was basically holding on for dear life and couldn't wait for it to end, I think if I was in back row I would have been in tears! After that shock went on the Ghost Train which was well, lame. Then husband and teenager went on the Spider. Went on other (sedate) rides and had a go at the Laughing Clowns that have bettered me for the years I have been feeding balls into their mouths. We also had takeaway coffees (soy latte and flat white), hot chips and good old hot jam donuts. Went to gift shop but disappointingly didn't have tshirt size I wanted. We were there for 2 hours and really needed 3 hours. Will go back because unfortunately today Scenic Railway down for maintenance and want to go on that, though after my experience on the Dragon Boat who knows.”

Kind Connections - Counselling & Play Therapy
● Open“My 10 year old son has worked with Jane for the past 4 years. Behaviourally and emotionally he has come leaps and bounds thanks to Jane’s dedication and patience. She taught him how to manage his explosive outbursts, express his feelings instead of lashing out in rage and frustration. My son expressed he felt worried the other day and it was such a milestone to hear that mature perspective of the situation he was experiencing. The way he now describes his feelings is incredible. Using descriptive words, like “my heart feels scared when I was in that game Mum” and expressing pure emotion when he saw an old teacher from years ago, who he adores. He wasn’t ashamed of showing people how he feels, which is brave, connected and it made us so proud of him. Jane taught our son the tools on how to regulate his emotions and express them in a constructive way, both verbally and physically. Thanks so much Jane for helping us mould, educate and nurture our beautiful caring boy.”
