“Just purchased a set of Piranha snow/mud chains and am extremely happy with them. I run 35x12.5 inch tyres and these chains are a comfortable fit with several links of adjustment to spare. They are a traditional design and are extremely quick and easy to fit. I Have another set of 'lighter duty' chains with an inner cable that are much more fiddly, take longer to fit and are a stretch for the 35's in spite of being sold as such. The Piranha chains have larger links for a better bite and are much heavier but you can't get this strength without the weight. They are more expensive than some on the market but in my opinion they are much better value as they will most likely outlast me. They also come in a handy plastic tub which is the only way a set of muddy chains would be going back into the car mid-trip.”
