"I had a conflict with my scheduled appointments for my two-year-old son. He was scheduled to come in for a cleaning at 10 AM and at 10:26 I realized we had missed the appointment and I called right away. I was so sorry for the missed appointment but I was in Boston at another appointment for him. Unfortunately, I had mixed up my appointments. I had never missed or arrived late to any other appointments I’ve had with them. I asked if they could as a one time courtesy waive the same-day no-show fee, one time as it was an honest mistake. I do realize when someone does not show up to an appointment it’s lost time in the dental chair, and sometimes does not allow opportunity to get someone else in the slot.. however, they told me they would waive the fee ONLY if I could come in Tuesday or Thursday the same week for openings that they had in their schedule that I could not accommodate due to my work schedule. Rather than waving it, and letting me reschedule to a better time that I could accommodate, and be sure this doesn’t happen again. I completely respect office policies, but this is completely outrageous. Life happens sometimes and they are not willing to offer any exceptions. I find this very poor customer service. This is unfortunate because clinically it’s a wonderful practice. The dentist and hygienist are all very nice and we had a wonderful experience when there outside of this."

"I really wanted to send my kids here, I emailed, called and left a message with no response (gave 3 weeks!) then when I finally got ahold of them and told them they’d be new patients they asked if I was sure because they were booking out until feb/March. It didn’t sound like they really wanted new patients, so I will be going elsewhere after the unwelcome feel I got. It’s too bad because I do hear great things about the dentists themselves so maybe I just got the wrong person."

"Dr. Carolyn and the hygenists are absolutely amazing! The environment is so calm and friendly there, and I have never even heard one child cry while there. They do a great job, and explain everything to the kids (and parents). They have TVs above the chairs for the kids to watch, and they give them sunglasses to borrow while they get their teeth cleaned. Today was our fourth visit (my son is 4), and we've had amazing experiences each and every time we have gone."
