Initially served by the Order of Carmelites, the Chapel transitioned on February 1, 2016, to the care of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (C.M.I.), an order founded in 1831 by Saint Kuriakose Elias Chavara of India. The C.M.I.s have expanded their ministry across 32 countries, including many states in the U.S., bringing their rich spiritual heritage to our community.
