Cedar Tree Neck Sanctuary is a beautiful park and tourist attraction located in West Tisbury, Massachusetts, United States. The sanctuary consists of several properties including the Obed Sherman Daggett and Maria Roberts Daggett Sanctuary, the A.S. Reed Bird Refuge, Fish Hook, and the George A. Hough Preserve. Visitors can enjoy the stunning views of Vineyard Sound, rocky streams, beach grasses, and stunted American beech trees. The sanctuary is a haven for diverse flora and fauna, making it a special place for both casual visitors and seasoned naturalists. Cedar Tree Neck Sanctuary was established through the generosity and efforts of many individuals. The Daggett family sold 100 acres of land at a reduced price, while the Hough family donated an additional 70 acres. Other land donations and conservation efforts have expanded the sanctuary to its current size of 400 acres. The conservation of land at Cedar Tree Neck continues to this day.
