DNRT Parsons Reserve Trailhead
● ClosedThe DNRT Parsons Reserve Trailhead is a beautiful park located on Horseneck Road in Dartmouth, Massachusetts, United States. Currently, the daffodils are just 2% in bloom, but it is anticipated that the field will be worth a visit around mid-April. The access point to the park is on Horseneck Road, just south of Russell’s Mills Village. There is limited parking available at the Russell’s Mills Landing, and during daffodil season, a second parking area is available on the east side of Horseneck Road. The Parsons Reserve is a significant property with Destruction Brook running through it, leading to Slocum’s River. A vernal pool provides habitat for various species, including wild turkeys, salamanders, and rare plants. The Reserve also features a beautiful beech grove, mature rhododendrons, and hundreds of daffodils that bloom every spring. The property is home to deer that can be seen wandering the paths.
