● OpenThe Gloucester Museum School Summer Camp, located at 646 Washington Street in Gloucester, Massachusetts, is now open for registration for the summer of 2024. This camp, founded by the late Jim Schoel, focuses on fostering a sense of wonder, environmental stewardship, and critical thinking skills in campers. The camp utilizes the open spaces of Essex County as a living classroom for campers to learn about and appreciate the natural resources of the Cape Ann area. Originally a program of the Gloucester Public Schools in 1971, the Gloucester Museum School has since become a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The camp offers a variety of outdoor activities for children aged 6-15 and is licensed by the Gloucester Board of Health. All policies, procedures, and staff background checks are available for review.
