"***Omissions are Lies*** Promotional Deals aka Marketing Traps I inquired about a promotion on their website. I began texting back and forth with Brooke. I asked very specific questions regarding cost and let her know I’d come in a few hours later to see the vehicle. When I arrived the salesperson, Steven, first said the vehicle was no longer there, he then said, “Great news we found the vehicle!” Interesting how a vehicle can all of a sudden reappear in a system. He proceeded to say that the deal that was quoted to me was actually not true because Brooke had omitted to share that it reflected discounts and no taxes. The down payment would have to be more than double to get me to that number. He then brings his manager Niko, this guy was just rude and indifferent if I bought a car or not. He tried to mansplain again that the promotional deal was invalid and that he couldn’t do anything to get to the price I was told. We left. I would give them 2 stars but the croissant was stale."

"Good selection of cars and our salesman was nice and helpful, particularly going over features after purchase. But….. I cannot figure out why cars are still sold this way, across brands and dealers. I hope I never again hear from a sales manager ‘what would it take to get you into this car today’ or ‘I MAY be able to get you another thousand dollars.’ I am inclined to move to Rivian or similar, simply to skip these sorts of negotiations."

"I wished I had the opportunity to say I had a great experience at Herb Chambers Volvo of Norwood. However, the reality is that my experience was not good at all. I visited their location on Saturday, May 10th, 2024, to purchase a Volvo vehicle. I wanted to give a gift to myself for the positive changes in my life, as it relates to my professional career and being accepted into a doctoral program. So, I decided to take my parents to the Volvo Herb Chambers in Norwood with me. While the car salesman, Faoud Younes was very polite and kind to me, the manager was not. The manager asked me questions that appeared to be negative assumptions that had nothing to do with the sale of a vehicle whatsoever. Neither my family nor I were appreciative of his line of questioning. Therefore, we left the location completely disappointed in the manager's conduct. On the same day, I drove to another Volvo dealer (Viti Volvo) and purchased my new vehicle. I posted a photo of my new car from Viti Volvo to show viewers proof that I did purchase my vehicle on the same day I left Herb Chambers Volvo. Not once did anyone from Viti Volvo ask me any inappropriate questions that would assume my ability to afford a vehicle. I would have rated Herb Chambers Volvo--Norwood 4 stars. However, given the awful and unpleasant experience from the manager who sits next to Faoud's office, my overall rating is a 2 for this location. I truly hope this location can get some training on what it means to not hold biases of visitors who shop for Volvo vehicles at Herb Chambers Volvo."

The receptionist was attentive and friendly, and immediately introduced me to Rob Gardner, the salesperson assigned to show me the different options in the car I was interested in considering. Rob is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, listens to your questions, and answers with all relevant details. He communicated efficiently, and seamlessly guided me throughout the purchasing process. My experience with Rob, Anastasia, and two managers was professional and respectful at all times. I picked up my new Volvo XC40 today and I love it! Thanks!"
