His extensive training includes a residency in General Surgery at NYU-Bellevue, where he served as Chief Resident, and a research fellowship in microsurgery and wound healing at the Bogart Laboratory. Further honing his skills, Dr. Michaels completed the prestigious Brigham/Children’s/Harvard Plastic Surgery program in Boston.
