Michaels, a highly esteemed plastic surgeon, brings a wealth of experience and expertise to our community. Educated in New York City, Dr. Michaels holds an undergraduate degree in psychology from Columbia College and earned his medical degree from The College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. His extensive training includes a residency in General Surgery at NYU-Bellevue, where he served as Chief Resident, and a research fellowship in microsurgery and wound healing at the Bogart Laboratory. Further honing his skills, Dr. Michaels completed the prestigious Brigham/Children’s/Harvard Plastic Surgery program in Boston.
