Snip-its Haircuts for Kids

"Such a great environment especially for reluctant kids. My son had 2 hair cuts elsewhere and it went OK but the next time we went he would not sit and kept asking to leave (that happened twice). I decided to try snip it's & he sat right down, played with the fidgets they had at the station. After they give a rubber duck as a prize that comes through the front desk. He got the best hair cut he's had yet (he's 2.5), & he didn't want to leave. Thank you!"

"Terrible experience last week for our son’s second haircut (first one was somewhere else). From the first phone call to get some information to the time of the appointment, terrible attitude and customer service. This woman should not work with children.. my son was scared of sitting in the salon chair so the hairdresser would not try anything to work with us. Stood there with her hands on her hips telling me about “her safety” and policy. 2 minutes into the conversation we knew this place was not going to work out. And they also allow 15 minutes per child so you better hurry."

"Terrible experience today. I showed up a few minutes late, saw three stylists in the salon when I pulled up. When I finally got my child out of the car seat and into the salon, there were only two stylist, both with customers and the third one nowhere to be seen. Because there was no one to check us in, we waited for the busy stylists to help us when they were ready. By the time anyone came to help, it was almost 15 minutes past the appointment time and they refused to take my child and also refused to discuss the matter further with me. When I pointed out that no one was here to check us in, the older stylist said that it was because our stylist was in the back doing laundry. When questioned how could we be considered late and "not in the system" when no one was present to check the system and instead let us stand there - it was just met with more rude "you were too late". One stylist in particular (with skunk-like white and black hair - Katie) was incredibly rude and stubborn. Not sure why they didn't go back to alert the stylists that we were there. Or even acknowledge that we came in - no one even said "hi" or "hello" when we entered. I can see now that they were determined to refuse us no matter what and made the decision before we walked in the door. It was clear from the beginning she was looking to fight with someone and I was apparently the next "late" customer to walk in so she took her chance. What a child. I tried to ask if they could work with us if other customers didn't show up for the next appointments and one stylists said yes, where the other two absolutely refused to be flexible and help. Unfortunately for us, the only stylist who was willing to be flexible had their customer show up on time. The skunk-hair girl's customer did not show but she still refused to cut my child's hair making point to tell me flat out "your child is NOT getting their hair cut here today". While this was happening, another customer, who showed up late for their appointment, was quickly checked in and taken back. I asked why we couldn't be seen while they can clearly be flexible with other late customers and skunk-girl continued to be stubborn and refuse us. I would have never treated a customer like that - especially one that has been bringing their children to this place for the past few years. Skunk-girl Katie, you are severely lacking in customer service skills and should definitely NOT be working in a place that is supposed to fun for and cater to children. What a horrible experience it was because of her and the other stylist but is apparently not unusual given other 1-star reviews on here. I have to believe this was the good Lord looking out for us because they probably would have ended up giving our child a terrible haircut. I can't imagine if you were good at your job or enjoyed it that you would be that rude to a customer you don't even know for nothing. Should also note nowhere on their site or when booking does it tell customers anything about a "5-minutes-late" policy. It seems like the stylists make it up as they go and bully customers at will. Their loss as both my husband and I are and have always been generous tippers. Losing out on money for the business and yourself, Katie. Terrible. Will never be back."

"Kristen was great with my son. She was patient and super sweet while working on my screaming 18month old. The place was very kid friendly and his haircut came out great! They know what they are doing there. We will be going back!"
