Haas Athletic Center
The Haas Athletic Center, located at 9 Fillmore Drive in Norton, Massachusetts, is the main facility for Wheaton athletics. It houses the majority of Wheaton's athletic administration and coaching staff for its 21 NCAA Division III athletic teams. The center includes three main parts: Balfour Natatorium with an eight-lane, 40-meter pool, Beard Field House with a six-lane, 200-meter track, indoor tennis courts, basketball courts, and indoor batting cages, and Emerson Gymnasium for basketball and volleyball. Additionally, the center has multiple locker rooms, an equipment room, an athletic training center, the Tokarz Team Room, and various meeting spaces. In times of inclement weather, the Field House is used for college commencement exercises. The Haas Athletic Center opened in 1991 and was named after Wheaton alumna Evelyn Danzig Haas '39.
