"I graduated from Emerson with a degree in basket weaving and now find myself struggling to pay off my enormous student debt. I'm praying our Dear Leader Joe Biden forgives even more of my student loan debt and makes those icky trades people pay more in taxes so I can enjoy another vacation. Of course college should be "free." Why should I have to pay for those loans I signed for?"
"Amazing College. This place is where the best of the best go"
"It's a great school, I went on a tour and it looked like an amazing school, I can't wait to go here if I get accepted into the college"
"Emerson was my top second choice college, after my first choice, Hampshire College in Amherst. The only reason I chose Hampshire over Emerson was because being from NYC, I wanted a COMPLETELY non-urban undergraduate college experience with a real campus that was also part of a larger educational consortium; AND had a sense of tight-knit community. I didn't want the "distraction" of an urban campus. Emerson was kind of like: "A smaller, friendlier Bostonian version of NYU." I chose Hampshire over Emerson for the same reasons I chose it over NYU/Tisch. I ❤️'d Emerson though. It was a TOUGH choice. And Boston is a GREAT city."
"I was excited about trying to enroll until the admissions rep, Cat got snippy with me with a "per my last email" remark as if I were incompetent. All awhile the question I asked lead to us discovering that their system had a glitch, which validated my question to begin with smh. I'm glad I didn't end up attending this school if this is how the staff treats potential students."
