Writing Center
β OpenThe Writing Center at Hampshire University, located at 893 West Street in Amherst, Massachusetts, is a valuable resource for all writers at the university. Whether you are working on a course paper, a Division II or III project, internship applications, or any other writing assignment, the Writing Program is here to help. Faculty associates Alex Cuellar and Faune Albert are available for individual counseling sessions and advising to provide feedback and support at any stage of the writing process. The Writing Center is a quiet and welcoming space on the edge of campus, offering communal writing areas as well as private writing spaces. Open Tuesdays through Fridays from 10:30am-4:30pm, the center also offers Writing Help @ Night supervised by Alumni Fellows for additional support outside of regular hours. Students can drop in during open hours or schedule an appointment for writing consultations.

Financial Aid Office
β OpenThe Financial Aid Office at Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts, United States, is dedicated to assisting students and families with the financial aid process. As a member of the National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators, we uphold ethical principles and values in providing financial assistance. Our office reviews applications, determines eligibility, prepares aid offers, and offers counseling on loans and student employment. We work closely with student accounts to coordinate financial aid. Our average need-based grant for the 2022-23 year was $44,177, with the average aid package totaling $47,990. We are committed to making Hampshire College affordable for all students. To apply for financial aid, US citizens and eligible non-citizens can complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Updates to the FAFSA form for the 2024-25 year will be available in December 2023. We provide various disclosures, information, and reports for current and prospective students and employees. Documents can be securely uploaded to the Net Partner portal, faxed, or mailed to our office. We do not accept documents via email to ensure data security.
