"This is a terrible place to live. Besides the generally filthy conditions of the interior of the building, this building has an uncontrollable cockroach problem that the management company won't deal with. Despite these problems, the rent will go up by at least $100 after your first year. No exceptions and no reasons given other than, "you have to pay more" Also, starting in January of each year if you don't immediately renew your lease (regardless of when it expires) the company gives your contact information to numerous realtors in the area who will begin texting you about showing your unit. If your lease is up in September, you will basically be bullied into resigning in January, otherwise you'll be harassed by realtors for the remaining 9 months that you live here."
