"I'm not sure Mr. Volker (the Nurse Practitioner here) gets the kudos he deserves based off of all of these other reviews. Mr. Volker has been phenomenal since I started my care here earlier this year. He always has time for me, listens intently and completely to my issues, and always has some sort of relief or solution for me. This isn't even to mention how attentive he is on the MPCP portal (which is amazing, btw). He always responds usually within 24 hrs if it's not a weekend (and sometimes on weekends!) and is always ready with the highest possible medical care he can provide. Mr. Volker is the real MVP (along with the front staff) at MPCP. Thank you for all you do."

"My husband and I have recently joined the Maryland Primary Care Physicians in Hanover, Maryland. Prior to this we utilized the Glen Burnie MPCP. Both offices are excellent. We are especially happy with the Hanover office and Dr. Sheth. Dr. Sheth is so thorough and efficient. She takes time to spend with you and listens to your concerns, thus you don’t feel like your just being shuffled through the office. The staff is also excellent and efficient. I highly recommend utilizing the services provided by the Hanover MPCP."

"I know some of the reviews aren’t so great for some of the Doctors here, however my personal experience with Dr. Akpan has been amazing. She is wonderful, personable, the is very thorough, and if she doesn’t know she will do everything in her power to get you the answers or to the person whom can give them to you. Especially as a POC it’s refreshing to find such a Doctor who will go above and beyond to provide a safe and wonderful experience for their patients. I personally was recently diagnosed with a very rare condition and she helped to facilitate the findings and recommendations/ research to help get me to the point to where I was able to get a proper diagnosis and treatment. While she wasn’t the diagnosing Physician, she did help with the research and recommendations to get me to the right place to get the care I needed, which quite literally saved my life/ and or quality of life. 10 out of 10. She will continue to be my primary care doctor moving forward."

"My experience at this location has always been mediocre at best and sometimes leaning towards harmful. I’ve struggled to receive adequate care at this location to investigate various issues with the deserved care. The bedside manner of the personnel has ranged from tense politeness to sheer indifference. I would consider the care of this facility equivalent to a somewhat decent urgent care facility. In my most recent visit, I left with about a two inch bruise from a failed blood draw performed by a person that was purported to be the best in the office. The nurse practitioner even stated in a somewhat egotistical manner that it “upsets him more than his patients to miss the vein”. Well he missed and aggravated the site by swirling the needle around in my arm to locate the vein. He got a small sample that was deemed insufficient and retracted the needle. They then labeled me as difficult rather than coming to terms with the fact that skilled professionals can perform this task regardless of patient. No sympathy was offered for the excessive pain and this terrible incident was the appetizer to a shoddy physical in which the practitioner couldn’t be bothered to look up a medical condition after struggling to pronounce the name. I’ll accept that this convenient location isn’t capable of the most rudimentary care and seek other facilities with caring, skilled staff that are responsive to their patients."

"Dr.Alder office staff was excellent, moving to a new area and looking for a new primary physicians can be challenging for many, but being referred to the office was a hit. knowing health is so important to me I didn't want to miss an opportunity to continue monitoring my health. Savannah customer service was great!!! She was able to help me get my wife an appointment as a new patient.
