Visitors can enjoy four softball fields, two baseball fields, basketball and handball courts, outdoor tennis courts, and the Wheaton Indoor Tennis Facility with heated and air-conditioned courts. Skating enthusiasts can take advantage of the year-round Wheaton Ice Arena, while sports lovers can utilize the Wheaton Sports Pavilion with state-of-the-art synthetic turf. In addition to the sports facilities, the park also features Montgomery Parks' first dog park, opened in 2003. This half-acre space is enclosed by a six-foot chain-link fence, allowing dogs to run and play off-leash. Weekly maintenance of the dog park occurs on Tuesday mornings.
