High Ridge Park

The property was eventually purchased by Theodorick Bland, who named it "Blandair" in the mid-19th century.

Gary J. Arthur Community Center
The Gary J. Arthur Community Center is a state-of-the-art facility located at 2400 Maryland 97, Cooksville, Maryland, United States. This community center is designed to serve the growing population in the western part of the county and is shared by the Departments of Recreation & Parks, Health, and the Office on Aging. The center features a fitness room, gymnasium with two basketball courts, indoor walking track, multi-purpose rooms, commercial kitchen, and activity rooms.
