"The new updated Uncle's was very nice. The food was tasty. There were 4 of us and everyone ordered something different. It was all good. Our server was attentive. My only negative was that the music was loud and really didn't fit the theme of the restaurant. Otherwise, we all liked it very much."

"The new menu was absolutely fantastic. We had the oysters, Rockefeller, the fish and chips, and the Sebastian mixed plate, and they all were absolutely fantastic. It was like a flavor explosion in my mouth. Vernon and Mandy did a great job and the owner Tommie came out and checked on us too. Highly, highly recommend this place. They have some great options for restaurant week too."

"The crab rangoons were the only thing that were just okay. I ordered shrimp tacos for my main, it was a slaw taco topped with maybe 1 shrimp that was cut up. Literally, 5 tiny pieces on TOP. 90% slaw and tomatoes. After 2 mains, 2 alc drinks, and an app it was almost 90 bucks. Definitely not worth that. Went next door to chipotle after. Also, the shrimp tacos 18 bucks on the menu and they charged us 19?? Maybe i missed a note on the menu saying they can change the price to whatever. Also automatically charged us for the food project? .25? There was a brochure in there saying to opt out ask your server? Why? Dont add anything to anyones bill without telling them first. We feel robbed but just wanted to leave. I've heard mixed reviews but 100% will not be going back again and would not recommend to anyone."

"First time I came to this place was last year. I found this place through my numerous Google searches and decided to try it out. I like in Baltimore so the drive was about an hour. This restaurant is a gem tucked in a small shopping place but a must to try out, and return to for their great food, service, and their tiki bar! I have gone to Uncle's a few times and the ho'okipa is always well received. The winter months offer le'ale'a indoors at their bar and an exteral bar for the summer. As far as mea'ai, every visit is a different menu order. Every portion is generous and delicious. The orders I've made are: The Uncle's, The Auntie's, the Pupu Platter, the Lumpia, and the chicken katsu sando. I have loved each small serving of various dishes offered in The Uncle's, The Auntie's, and the Pupu platter. Each bite is an adventure, each flavor is nostalgic to island life. I recommend this place and would like to see this place grow their ohana and kaiaulu. Mahalo nui ia oe for everything!"
