"Naturally, this restaurant's name gave me a moment's pause. However, the Suicide Bridge Restaurant website explains how the bridge got its name, and so too the the road and their restaurant next to it. Local reviews said the seafood here is good, plus the restaurant is on a marina. I enjoyed an excellent lunch of flounder with crab imperial, Maryland crab soup, and crab balls, which I shared with my sister, along with a wonderful eclair for dessert. Our server was great. We did not have to wait for our food, and it arrived nice and warm, obviously just made. Because the restaurant overlooks a marina (with ducks!) and the waterway beyond, the atmosphere is very relaxing. My sister and I highly recommend Suicide Bridge Restaurant."
"Excellent view from both outside and inside restaurant. We had lunch. I had cream of Crab soup. Taste was excellent. Only a few bits of shell. I prefer a creamier base but this was still very good. I also had single fried oysters with a side of Cole slaw. The oysters were heavenly with a nice salty taste. The Cole slaw was cut small and creamy and slightly sweet, my favorite. Others had little neck class in wine and garlic broth. They were excellent. Bang bang fried shrimp in a Thai chili sauce but that was not spicy Hot. All in all, it is very good to excellent food."
"We really like this restaurant. It has beautiful views. Try a suicide sling from the tiki bar you wont regret it! Most of the food here is fantastic. We have tried seafood nachos, fried rockfish, rockfish imperial, stuffed shrimp, softshell nuggets, and steamed crabs and loved all of it. Their sides are very good as well. The one thing we dislike here is the crab dip. If your looking for a dip full of crab meat and flavor this one isn't it. The one thing that has been off both times we have visited this summer has been the service. Most recently we weren't even asked if we wanted a drink refill. Luckily the food and atmosphere almost make up for the below average service. Try to request a window seat it definitely improves the dining experience!"
"Must try this wonderful local seafood restaurant located on the Choptank River also offering scenic boat cruises. Every year, we book group crab feasts & cruises, and Kelly & her team always deliver an exceptional experience. Great service, delicious food & a scenic location. Highly recommend!"
