"Warning: they add gratuity on checks! I was shocked that they add the gratuity on 1 plate! I don't think anyone wants to pay $57 for a single meal!! This should be posted because it's not fair and an added a tip not realizing this. The food is good but takes forever to get."
"My wife and I have always loved SSMC for its quality yet affordable menu choices, obviously the Crab Pretzel & my personal fave POTATO SPIKES (skins as they are usually called) DELICIOUS and my wife especially likes the CRABBY TOTS...generous portion of lump crab. But far beyond the food is the service we are accustomed to on Saturday nights. We play Musical Bingo and our regular server, Delaney, is the best! She is prompt and attentive, never do we have an empty glass and she's always right there for all we need. Highly recommend SSMC!"
"We had a party of 12. Our waitress was very nice. Food was good. Could have been hotter. Especially the sour beef that they are known for. I don't understand why no one buses tables anymore. They also added the gratuity which I understand because we were a large group but the didn't give us an itemized receipt when the final credit card receipt was presented. We had it to review but took it away when the final was presented. Why?? I think so wouldn't see the gratuity."
"This is a super place to bring a large group. We happen to get here around noon. On a Sunday. We were very lucky to find this place. But the ordering did get confusing as our lacrosse team. Kids sat all over, so staff had their hands full. We ended up with 9 full tables so they had their hands full. Now im writing this before we got our food , but I'm sure it's going to be good. "Huge portions and friendly staff make visiting this location worth it. The crab dip pretzel is a meal in and of itself, but split it with another to save room for their signature dish: Sour Beef and Dumplings. The beef is fork-tender and soaked in a savory, sweet and tangy sauce and served with potato dumplings. The restaurant is well maintained, the waitstaff is super-friendly, and the management checks in on you to ensure your dining experience is top-tier. Whenever I'm back in town, this is one of the first restaurants I visit and I have never regretted it."
