Dr. Bukhari holds a Bachelor of Science in molecular biology from the University of Connecticut, a Master of Medical Science from Drexel University, and a Master of Science in clinical nutrition from Columbia University. He obtained his Doctor of Medicine degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School and completed his internal medicine residency at Wright State University/Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Dr. Bukhari also completed a dual fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the University of Maryland’s Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center, where he served as chief fellow. Board certified in hematology, medical oncology, and internal medicine, Dr. Bukhari is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology. He was awarded the Silver Certificate of Excellence by the NIH/National Cancer Institute Community Oncology Research Program in 2022 for his outstanding patient enrollment in cancer trials. Dr. Bukhari has been published in prestigious journals such as the Journal of Clinical Oncology and Blood Advances.
